Chaleur humaine

Group show with the work of Pia Rönicke and Hassan Sharif
Triennale Art Industrie, Dunkerque Hauts-De-France
June 10, 2023 - January 14, 2024

Entitled Chaleur Humaine, the second edition of the Triennale Art Industrie, which will be held throughout the second half of 2023 in Dunkirk and throughout the Hauts-de-France region, will explore the subject of energy.
To embrace this vast theme, the contemporary art center of Dunkirk (Frac Grand Large and LAAC), at the initiative and in charge of the triennial, has invited two independent curators: Anna Colin and Camille Richert, assisted by Henriette Gillerot. Their curatorial line consists in observing what the energy challenges that have emerged since the end of the Thirty Glorious have done to art, design and architecture, and reciprocally, what these practices have brought to the discourse, representations and energy and ecological issues of the planet.
Through these multiple artistic proposals, the public will be invited to discover practices dealing with excessive energy consumption, access to natural resources, issues of sustainability and environmental responsibility, as well as the transformation of landscapes and humanity’s relationship to the sensible and the visible, the intensity of the living between forces and fatigue, or the circulation of data and energy flows.
