Rehanging of the collection, including the work of Robert Breer and Ryan Gander
Carré d’art-musée d’art contemporain, Nîmes
Spring - Summer, 2023
In 2023, Nîmes celebrates the 30th anniversary of Carré d’Art, inaugurated on May 9, 1993. A building with a strong architectural gesture imagined by the English architect Lord Norman Foster, it stands in the heart of the city, on the former square of the Roman Forum, in resonance with the Maison Carrée.
Within this exceptional site, Carré d’Art - Musée d’art contemporain has the mission to collect, preserve, present contemporary creation and make it accessible to the widest possible public through exhibitions, publications and educational projects.
As part of their 30 year anniversary, the museum will present a new hanging of their collection throughout the city of Nîmes, including the work of Robert Breer and Ryan Gander.
