Insights #02 presents a selection of works newly acquired by the FRAC Alsace in 2019 and 2020. Of great formal diversity, these are photographs, drawings, sculptures, objects, videos, new media and performances. The works have been created by well-known artists and others yet to be discovered. Many of them deal with the relationship of humans to their natural or virtual environment and explore classic genres such as landscape or portraiture. The selection of works is completed by a presentation of the documents that accompany the acquisition process and show the way of working in a public collection.
