Group show with works by Roman Ondak and Tirdad Hashemi from the collection

The works of Tirdad Hashemi and Roman Ondak are included in the most recent hanging of the collection at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris.
This presentation of a selection of around forty works - recently acquired and never shown before - will offer a reflection on the position of the body and the forms of constraints suffered both in the context of the recent health crisis but also in resonance with the changes in our societies, up to the current war in Ukraine. In a second part, the works will refer to writing as a form of expression and resistance to be read as testimonies, signs, even becoming stories.
These works were recently acquired by donation or purchase, in particular thanks to the support of the Friends of the Museum of Modern Art and its Committee for Contemporary Creation, and the generosity of other donors.
