Encompassing disembodied performance, video and sculptural works, the presentation uses the still life as vehicle to explore the role of the body in the age of its relentless control.
The gallery’s own presence in Hong Kong will be done remotely, aided by the presence of a local assistant.
The inescapable realities provoked by our ongoing state of crisis, allow us to insist in the importance of Spooner’s work, one concerned with the vocabularies of control, management of people and time.
