Since his arrival in Beirut Majd Abdel Hamid has been fascinated by the al-Mur tower. Both a reference point for orientation in the city, this tower uninhabited since the civil war in Lebanon is also the starting point for a multitude of real or fictional stories about the horrors of war. The artist has recreated this building full of symbols in a hologram that shows the tower turning on itself. At the same time, he creates a set of embroideries that could, in an abstract way, be a portrait of it.
