Exhibition
Gardens of Versailles
From 22 October to 7 January 2018
For its 10th contemporary art exhibition, the Palace of Versailles presents “Voyage d’hiver”, a unique itinerary through the groves until 7 January 2018, curated by the Palais de Tokyo.
Sculpture, sound installation, painting, drapery, reflection, oxidization, and glaciations are just a few of the techniques employed: metamorphosing a stroll into
a personal experience, allowing visitors to perceive nature’s transformation from the glory of autumn to the starkness of winter
Curators: Jean de Loisy, President of the Palais de Tokyo; Yoann Gourmel and Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel, curators at the Palais de Tokyo; Alfred Pacquement, curator of contemporary art at Versailles
