Originally announced it for spring 2020, as a direct formulation of the Helmhaus annual theme 2020: circulation. The theme of the year and the exhibition have now been carried on into 2021, and the group exhibition “Circulate!” concentrates on what has kept us all busy over the past year: the circulation of air - and what it all carries with it in terms of levels of meaning and potential dangers.
