A sculpture made of Zimbabwean Dollars (ZWD) banknotes, at the time the world’s most devalued currency, with a single banknote reaching the value of 50 trillion ZWD.
To do this piece, the artist exchanged 5 000 euros he earnt from recent years to ZWD, setting up a system of recollection and exchange with people in Zimbabwe. Banknotes were sent in Paris in different badges and displayed as a growing stack of banknotes on the floor, materializing the process of completion of the work. The form/appearance of this sculpture evolved during the time of the show.
