Unique

Translation of the sms of the Chinese copyist Wang Shiping painted by Paul Heintz on the palette in Chinese characters.

“I dreamed that I was painting next to a field. In my dream, I clearly dreamed that my painting technique became totally original, very unique and very innovative but also very beautiful with very rich colors. I felt the dream was very real, like I was really painting. The experience was extremely enjoyable but when I woke up I couldn’t remember the process I had dreamed of, I was very disappointed. I thought this dream could be a great source of inspiration. I am constantly seeking to find this quality of inspiration so that I may one day remember it.
I will create a series of new works. There are also those dreams at work when I painted series of paintings for two months, I started to be afraid of painting, the painting tired me. Even in dreams these images haunt me. I really feel helpless. I don’t like that feeling.”
