Solo dancer, nine choreographic sequences

Two dancers from the two versions of the group work On False Tears and Outsourcing transfer nine choreographic sequences to a soloist. In these nine sequences dancers must remain at all times intimately bound and violently separate. In the ‘nine sequence solo’ the soloist must receive knowledge and perform these choreographies without making contact with an other body. Here, from a technical and economic necessity a group work solidi es, the group depreciates, dissipates, migrates, a solo work arrives, with much knowledge lost and a new performance vocabulary adapted, registered and gained.
